Hsiao-chun finds his character disgusting. Hsiao-tien recovers from the coma. He relinquishes all his businesses to Chou Yung, which antagonizes Wei-lun. Cheng Tan employs Lei Kang, the fast gunner, to kill Chou Yung. Chou detects signs of danger and anticipates Lei's attack. As the two men confront each other in a duel, Hsi-Ya comes to the scene. Lei Kang agrees not to harm Hsi-ya so that Chou can concentrate in the duel. Lei Kang loses because of over-confidence. As Lei keeps his promise of not hurting Hsi-ya, Chou let him go. Hsi-ya grows to worry for Chou Yung more and more. She tries to persuade Chou to withdraw from the underworld affairs. But Chou refuses her plea because to do so would disappoint Hsiao-tien. Hsi-ya is in great distress……
