KWAN makes up his mind not to follow MUI to the US, unwilling to be her burden. TEAK urges her to leave Guangzhou as soon as possible. SING has come round. The doctor at the hospital tells him he has been hit by a bomb. As he has lost his memory, he has to stay for observation. MUI places an ad at the papers looking for SING everyday ever since she has arrived at the States.
